Hello all you lovely #Cravers! Ashley and I have got a special treat in store for you this month! Since we are just starting out and have been seeing each other so frequently we will have more posts than normal. For this post we wanted to share our adventures of our first “photo shoot”. I use that term loosely as we ran around the Leo J. Ryan Park in Foster City, using our iPhones to take photos of ourselves.

Of course we did a Snap Chat filter!

We want to share the good, the bad, the bloopers and the Snap Chat filters with everyone. Our main goal of our dinner this month was to get some photo content for our page as well as finalize the design and edit our first post. (We did eat, food review coming late). We were so excited to do this photo shoot and had such a fun time.

Getting a little silly with the camera!

Ashley and I decided the best place to do our photo shoot was at the park in Foster City that is on a small lake/river/canal in the middle of the town just off the bay. It has some lovely water views and beautiful buildings around it that make a great backdrop. We planned this 2 weeks prior with the hopes that it would be a clear, windless day. We got one of our wishes granted. It was gorgeous and sunny but windy as all hell. We trekked to the side of the water anyways, phones in hand, no real plan.

Since the sun was setting we had limited time to get the shots we wanted. We tried to get some selfies but we weren’t satisfied with the angle. We decided to move on and try a different tactic, so we went inside the community center where it was less windy, but the background was less than ideal :/ We moved outside and tried to stand our phones up on the ledge of the window and take a photo on a timer, that didn’t work either! We thought maybe we could lean our phones against a bench. That also did not work, we definitely should have brought along another person to be our photographer.

Window ledges are NOT good camera stands, who knew?

But sometimes it works, after hilariousness ensues.

Despite our lack of planning and the fact that we looked like a couple of crazy people running around laughing and trying to get photos, we had such a great time! I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard. We did eventually find a successful way to take a photo and got a few good ones. Check out the pictures, the keepers and the bloopers! As always, let us know, What are you craving?
